City Dog provides boutique items and supplies in addition to offering full-service grooming and self-serve bathing stations.
It is conveniently located at 550 Park Boulevard, just south of Market Street in the East Village.
Situated just south of Balboa Park, just east of Gaslamp, just north of the Padres' stadium, City Dog is less than a half-mile from the 5 freeway. It is easy to reach from the Little Italy, Banker's Hill or South Park neighborhoods.
As is often the case in downtown San Diego, parking can be tight at this location. There are a few unmetered spots on southbound Park Blvd and a 15-minute pick-up/drop-off spot in front of City Dog's entrance.
For longer visits, affordable garage parking is available just a block away at either 655 10th Ave Parking or the Padres Parkade on 11th Avenue.
